PRT Dance Teacher Job in Handwara, Kupwara
Kashmir Public School | Unisoo invites a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to join its Handwara campus. This role focuses on nurturing students’ creativity and physical coordination through structured dance programs, blending traditional and contemporary styles. The school values teachers who can inspire young learners while aligning with modern educational standards.
The primary responsibility of this PRT position is to teach dance to students in primary classes, ensuring age-appropriate lessons that develop motor skills, discipline, and cultural awareness. You will design engaging lesson plans covering basic dance techniques, rhythm, and movement, incorporating regional and international dance forms. Classroom management will also be key—balancing group activities with individual attention to ensure every student progresses meaningfully.
Dance-specific duties include conducting weekly classes, assessing students’ progress through practical evaluations, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment. Collaboration with other teachers to integrate dance into broader curriculum themes is also expected. The school expects a teacher who can adapt teaching methods to different learning styles while fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required, along with at least two years of teaching experience in a school setting. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, prior experience in dance education or physical education would be highly beneficial. The role offers a competitive monthly salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.25,000, depending on qualifications and performance.
