PGT Biology Teacher Position at Birla Open Minds International School in Pulwama
Birla Open Minds International School invites applications for a PGT Biology Teacher role to join the faculty in Pampore, Pulwama. Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver advanced biology lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, ensuring depth and relevance to students.
2. Develop and assess practical experiments, field studies, and project-based activities to enhance understanding of biological concepts.
3. Collaborate with the biology department to refine teaching methods, integrate technology, and improve student outcomes.
4. Maintain detailed records of student progress, participation, and performance in biology-related assessments.
5. Supervise lab sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed and equipment is used efficiently.
6. Engage with parents and stakeholders to discuss student achievements and areas for improvement in biology.
7. Stay updated on scientific advancements and educational trends to incorporate modern teaching techniques.
8. Assist in organizing school events, workshops, or competitions related to biology and science education.
To qualify, a candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Experience in teaching biology at the secondary or senior secondary level is essential, with at least two years of relevant teaching experience. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for this role.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking educational institution in Pulwama.
