PGT Urdu Teacher Position at Birla Open Minds International School in Pampore
Birla Open Minds International School in Pampore, Pulwama, invites experienced educators to join as a PGT Urdu Teacher. This role focuses on delivering high-quality Urdu language instruction to students, ensuring cultural relevance and academic excellence in a diverse classroom.
You will plan, prepare, and conduct engaging Urdu lessons across various grades, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Daily classroom management includes assessing student progress, providing feedback, and implementing differentiated instruction to foster language proficiency. Collaborate with the curriculum team to align Urdu teaching with school-wide learning objectives, ensuring consistency in assessment and evaluation standards.
Teaching responsibilities also extend to organizing cultural events, workshops, and language exchanges to enrich students’ understanding of Urdu literature, grammar, and heritage. Maintain a well-organized classroom environment, including resources like textbooks, multimedia tools, and interactive materials to support effective instruction.
Qualified candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Urdu or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET is not mandatory for this position, prior teaching experience in Urdu is highly valued. The salary for this full-time role is Rs.38,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, with opportunities for professional growth in a supportive academic setting.
