Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver engaging EVS lessons aligned with Jammu and Kashmir curriculum standards.
2. Organize field trips and outdoor learning activities to reinforce classroom concepts.
3. Prepare and maintain lesson plans, assessment tools, and student progress records.
4. Collaborate with teachers to integrate EVS themes across other subjects where possible.
5. Participate in school events like science fairs, eco-clubs, and sustainability workshops.
6. Foster a culture of environmental responsibility through classroom discussions and student projects.
7. Ensure compliance with school policies on safety, discipline, and student welfare.
8. Assist in preparing students for state-level environmental awareness competitions.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential for this role. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in EVS or environmental sciences, is required. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.14,500 to Rs.28,000 per month in Zainapora, Shopian.
