PGT Chemistry Teacher Job in Srinagar, Jammu And Kashmir

Responsibilities

Develop innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding, including practical demonstrations and interactive experiments. Collaborate with the chemistry department to update syllabi, resources, and assessment techniques based on student performance trends. Supervise lab activities and maintain safety protocols in chemistry labs. Participate in school-wide academic planning, including curriculum reviews and teacher training sessions.
Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a strong academic background. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for a PGT role in a school setting. Experience teaching high school chemistry for at least two years is essential, preferably in a similar academic environment. Demonstrate proficiency in using educational technology to supplement chemistry instruction. A clean criminal background check and valid teaching certification (TET/CTET) are preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 55,000, along with benefits that include a performance-based allowance and opportunities for professional development.
