Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed lesson plans that cater to diverse learning abilities and promote conceptual clarity. Align each lesson with the overall curriculum goals, ensuring smooth progression across topics. Design formative and summative assessments that accurately gauge student understanding and provide meaningful feedback. Maintain records of student performance, analyze trends, and intervene promptly to support learners who are falling behind.
Curriculum & Planning
Develop weekly and monthly teaching schedules that integrate prerequisite concepts and build toward higher‑order thinking skills. Coordinate with department colleagues to ensure consistent coverage of the syllabus and avoid redundancy. Incorporate varied instructional strategies, including problem‑solving sessions, group activities, and technology‑aided demonstrations.
Assessment & Tracking
Create quizzes, unit tests, and project‑based evaluations that reflect the depth and breadth of the mathematics syllabus. Use assessment data to generate progress reports and identify areas for remedial action. Provide individualized guidance and extra help sessions based on tracked performance metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or related discipline. Must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. Candidates with TET/CTET certification are preferred.
Salary
Rs.35,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
