The successful candidate will lead sports and fitness activities, ensuring students develop physical skills, teamwork, and discipline. You’ll design and implement curriculum aligned with school standards, fostering a healthy and active lifestyle among learners. Teaching outdoor sports like cricket, football, athletics, and indoor games like badminton and table tennis will be a key part of your responsibilities.
You’ll also mentor students, encourage participation in school sports events, and collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into daily activities. Maintaining high standards of safety and equipment management will be essential to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all students.
To qualify, a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required. At least two years of teaching experience in physical education at the secondary or senior secondary level is mandatory. Experience in shaping young minds through sports and fitness is highly valued.
The role offers a competitive salary of Rs.35,000 to Rs.55,000 per month, along with full-time employment in a prestigious educational institution dedicated to holistic development.
