6. Participating in school events such as inter-house competitions, guest lectures, and awareness campaigns related to political science.
7. Keeping updated on political developments in India and Jammu & Kashmir to incorporate relevant discussions in class.
8. Assisting in extracurricular activities like model elections, mock parliaments, or debates to enhance students’ political awareness.
The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science with at least three years of teaching experience. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory, along with a valid TET/CTET certificate preferred. Experience in teaching in a multicultural setting, particularly in Jammu & Kashmir, would be an added advantage.
