PRT Computer Science Teacher – Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute, Srinagar North
Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute is hiring a PRT Computer Science Teacher for its Srinagar North campus in Jammu and Kashmir. The role involves delivering the Computer Science curriculum to primary level students and supporting the school’s technology initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging Computer Science lessons for classes I‑VIII, following the prescribed syllabus and state guidelines.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing timely feedback to learners and parents.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe, inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity about technology.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist senior faculty in organizing school-wide computer labs and extracurricular tech events.
- Participate in periodic staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school functions as required.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for teaching positions.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Computer Science at the primary or middle school level.
Compensation
- Salary range: Rs.15,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
