Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality science lessons across grades, ensuring alignment with the curriculum while adapting teaching methods for diverse learning needs.
2. Develop and implement interactive experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to enhance student understanding of scientific concepts.
3. Assess student progress through continuous evaluation, providing constructive feedback and supporting individual learning goals.
4. Collaborate with the science department to plan and update lesson plans, resources, and assessment strategies.
5. Maintain a well-organized classroom environment, ensuring safety standards and equipment are properly managed.
6. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities related to science to engage families and the community.
7. Stay updated on educational trends, teaching methodologies, and scientific advancements to refine instructional practices.
8. Assist in organizing science-related clubs, workshops, or competitions to encourage extracurricular exploration.
To qualify, a graduate degree in science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a science-focused setting, is highly beneficial. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is an added advantage.
