Role introduction
Neurodiverse Life Skills School | Srinagar seeks a dedicated Special Educator to lead and manage support programs for students with diverse needs. The role focuses on strategic planning, policy implementation, and coordination with parents and external agencies in Srinagar South.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee individualized support plans for students with special needs.
- Coordinate with school administration to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Lead a team of support staff, providing guidance and performance reviews.
- Organize workshops for parents and caregivers on inclusive practices.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet goals.
- Liaise with local health and social services to facilitate holistic care.
- Prepare monthly reports on program outcomes for stakeholders.
- Manage budget allocations for special education resources.
Qualification (Must Have / Good to Have)
Must Have: Graduate degree, B.Ed or D.El.Ed, minimum 3 years experience in special education administration.
Good to Have: TET/CTET certification, experience in a school setting within Jammu And Kashmir.
