PGT Music Teacher Job in Chas, Bokaro – Sunrise Public School
Sunrise Public School in Chas, Bokaro, invites experienced educators to join its faculty as a PGT Music Teacher. This role focuses on shaping young minds through music education, blending creativity with structured teaching methods in a vibrant school environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging music curriculum aligned with national education standards. You’ll teach a variety of instruments, vocal techniques, and music theory while fostering students’ artistic expression and cultural appreciation. Daily lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment will be core duties. Collaborating with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects is also essential. Regular parent-teacher interactions will help build strong partnerships for student growth. Ensuring compliance with school policies on student safety and academic integrity is part of your role. Conducting extracurricular music events, like concerts and festivals, will add to your impact. Maintaining updated teaching resources and adapting lessons for diverse learning needs will keep your approach dynamic.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Music or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, with the opportunity to contribute to Sunrise Public School’s commitment to holistic education in Chas, Bokaro.
