Position Summary
Physics is fundamentally an experimental science. At our {location} campus, we believe that the laboratory is the heart of the department. We are searching for a PGT Physics Teacher who prioritizes the "lab-first" approach. We want our students in Bokaro to graduate with the empirical skills required for higher research. You will be responsible for ensuring that every theory taught in the classroom is grounded in experimental evidence.
Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
Laboratory Instruction: Conduct detailed practical sessions. You must ensure every student is proficient in recording data, calculating "least count," and performing error analysis.
Investigatory Projects: Guide Grade 12 students in their mandatory investigatory projects. This involves helping them select original topics, formulate hypotheses, conduct experiments, and write formal scientific reports.
Inventory & Safety: Take full ownership of the Physics Lab. This includes the procurement of high-quality equipment, regular calibration of instruments, and the enforcement of strict laboratory safety protocols.
Theory-Practical Linkage: Ensure that the laboratory schedule is perfectly synchronized with the theory lectures. For instance, when teaching "Refraction," students should be in the lab working with prisms and lenses simultaneously.
Technical Writing: Teach students how to maintain precise laboratory journals and how to present data through accurate graphical representations.

Teaching Experience: 5 (Candidates with a research background are encouraged to apply).
