Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Accountancy lessons, ensuring clarity on financial concepts like accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial statements.
Prepare and deliver structured lesson plans, incorporating interactive methods such as case studies, group discussions, and practical exercises relevant to Jharkhand’s economic context.
Assist students with their assignments, homework, and project work, offering personalized guidance to strengthen their understanding of accounting theories and practices.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging students to ask questions and participate actively in discussions.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update syllabus-based teaching materials, including worksheets, PowerPoint presentations, and handouts tailored to modern accounting practices.
Monitor student progress in Accountancy through regular assessments, quizzes, and unit tests, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
Collaborate with the commerce department to integrate real-world scenarios, such as local business examples or government policies affecting Jharkhand’s economy, into lesson plans.
Attend departmental meetings and curriculum review sessions to stay updated on educational trends and school policies related to Accountancy teaching.
Periodic Responsibilities
Participate in school-wide academic events, such as commerce fairs or workshops, to promote interest in Accountancy among students.
Prepare annual progress reports for students, summarizing their performance in Accountancy and recommending areas for further development.
Ensure compliance with school policies on curriculum implementation, grading systems, and student attendance records for Accountancy subjects.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Accountancy or a related commerce stream.
Possess a TET/CTET certificate as a preference, though not mandatory for this role.
Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in Accountancy or commerce subjects at the secondary or senior secondary level.
Strong command of English and Hindi, essential for effective communication with students and parents.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
