Role Summary
Doon Public School is seeking a skilled PGT Hindi Teacher to join our faculty in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The ideal candidate should be experienced in Hindi teaching and have a strong educational background. As a PGT Hindi Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing students in Hindi literature and language.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Hindi literature and language to students of Class XI and XII.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans to meet the needs of students.
3. Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student progress.
4. Develop and implement classroom activities to promote student engagement.
5. Provide individualized attention to students with special needs.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
7. Attend staff meetings and participate in school events.
8. Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment.
9. Participate in extra-curricular activities related to Hindi literature and language.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Hindi or related field (M.A. Hindi)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of Hindi literature and language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of different age groups and abilities
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Hindi as a second language
- Knowledge of CTET or TET (although not mandatory)
- Familiarity with online resources and digital tools for teaching
- Participation in Hindi literary events or competitions
