PGT Social Science Teacher Job in Dhanbad, Jharkhand
Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Senior Secondary School in Dhanful, Jharkhand is looking for a PGT Social Science Teacher. The candidate will join a vibrant school community and deliver the Social Science curriculum to senior secondary students.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography, Civics and Economics for classes XI and XII.
Create and assess formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
Incorporate multimedia resources and experiential learning activities to deepen conceptual understanding.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress as per school policies.
Participate in departmental meetings, school functions, parent‑teacher interactions and continuous professional development programs.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Social Science or related discipline along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
CTET/TET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum four years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a recognized school setting.
Salary and employment type
Salary: Rs.40,000 - Rs.50,000 per month
