Coordinate with music and art teachers to integrate cross-curricular dance activities.
Maintain discipline and safety during movement exercises and rehearsals.
Document student participation and improvement in a simple observation register.
Arrange costumes and props for school events like Annual Day and Sports Day.
Collaborate with the sports department for rhythmic warm-ups during PT periods.
Attend staff meetings to share ideas for enhancing the dance curriculum.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Two years of experience teaching dance to children aged 6 to 12.
Prior work in Doon Public School or similar CBSE-affiliated schools is an advantage.
Skills We Value
Proficiency in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, or contemporary styles.
Ability to choreograph simple routines for young learners.
