What You Will Do
Plan weekly English lessons aligned with the NCERT framework for Classes 1 to 5.
Use storytelling, phonics games, and simple poems to make English lively.
Prepare low-cost teaching aids from local materials found in Dhanbad markets.
Conduct short dictation and picture-based writing tasks to build confidence.
Organize circle-time discussions on everyday topics like festivals in Jharkhand.
Pair stronger readers with peers who need help during reading corners.
Assess progress through informal observation and small quizzes rather than heavy tests.
Collaborate with PRTs teaching Hindi and EVS to reinforce language across subjects.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Two years of full-time English teaching experience at primary level.
Familiarity with Jharkhand state board curriculum is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
Patience to repeat instructions for learners who speak local dialects at home.
Strong oral communication to explain concepts in simple Hindi when needed.
Basic knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies for diverse classrooms in Dhanbad.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.20,000 to Rs.40,000 per month based on qualification and experience.
Fixed monthly pay credited on the 5th of every month.
School holidays and local festival leave as per Jharkhand government norms.
