Responsibilities
Teach fundamental music theory, instruments, and vocal skills to students in classes I to VIII. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum while incorporating regional folk and classical music traditions. Organize school events like music festivals, concerts, and cultural programs to showcase student talent.
Ensure proper maintenance of school music instruments and equipment. Collaborate with the principal and music coordinator to plan extracurricular activities that promote creativity and discipline. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in music-related activities.
Qualification
Hold a degree in Music or related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Possession of TET/CTET certificate is highly preferred for better placement opportunities.
Experience
A minimum of two years of teaching experience in schools, preferably in music or arts subjects. Familiarity with school music programs and student engagement techniques is a plus.
Salary and Employment
