The Primary Music Teacher (PRT) is responsible for cultivating a foundational appreciation and technical understanding of music among students in Grades 1 through 5. The role involves designing age-appropriate lesson plans that balance vocal training, instrumental practice, and music theory. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in a K-12 environment and is capable of managing diverse classroom dynamics in a premium educational setting.
Salary and Compensation
Annual CTC: INR 3,60,000 to INR 4,80,000 based on experience and audition results.
Monthly In-hand: INR 28,000 to INR 36,000.
Additional Benefits: Employees Provident Fund (EPF), annual performance-based bonus up to 10 percent of CTC, subsidized staff transportation, and on-campus semi-furnished accommodation for outstation candidates.

Measurable Outcomes: The facility supports a 100 percent student participation rate in the annual school production and provides resources for at least 15 percent of the student body to pursue advanced solo certifications.
Instruction Approach
Educational Requirement: A Graduate degree (B.A. in Music or B.Mus) from a recognized university.
Certifications: Preference for candidates with Grade 5 or higher certification from Trinity College London, ABRSM, or RockSchool.
Pedagogy: A blend of Orff Schulwerk and Kodaly methods focused on experiential learning.
Technical Integration: Use of digital tools and smart boards for teaching rhythm, notation, and ear training to primary learners.
Note: Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is not required for this specific performing arts role.
Performance Expectations
Curriculum Delivery: 100 percent adherence to the annual academic calendar with all syllabus goals met by the end of February.
Student Proficiency: At least 80 percent of students in Grades 3-5 must demonstrate basic proficiency in reading Western or Indian musical notation.
Event Management: Successful execution of 3 major annual events: Independence Day, Annual Day, and the Inter-House Music Competition.
Extracurricular Growth: Maintain an active enrollment of at least 40 students in the after-school music club or school choir.
Documentation: Weekly submission of lesson plans and monthly progress reports for every section taught.
