Collaborate with other teachers to integrate biology concepts into interdisciplinary projects and activities. Attend departmental meetings and workshops to stay updated on educational trends and teaching methodologies. Participate in school events, science fairs, and outreach programs to engage students beyond the classroom.
Periodic Responsibilities
Organize field trips and guest lectures to provide real-world applications of biology principles. Review and update teaching resources, including textbooks and lab equipment, to ensure they meet educational standards. Assess and document student performance through periodic tests and assignments to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Possess a Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate as preferred. Minimum two years of teaching experience in biology at the secondary level is required. Demonstrated ability to engage students through innovative teaching strategies is essential.
