Pragyan Public School Jharkhand seeks a skilled and experienced Computer Lab Assistant to manage its computer laboratory in Hazaribag, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. This is a critical non-teaching administrative role, requiring a strong technical background and effective leadership skills.
What You Will Do
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the computer laboratory, ensuring smooth functioning of hardware and software.
2. Provide technical support to students and staff, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
3. Develop and implement computer laboratory policies and procedures, in consultation with the school administration.
4. Conduct regular maintenance of computer equipment, including upgrades and repairs.
5. Supervise and mentor junior staff, including computer laboratory assistants and attendants.
6. Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum, enhancing student learning outcomes.
7. Develop and implement training programs for students and staff on computer software and hardware.
8. Monitor and control computer laboratory inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of assets.
Required Qualifications
A graduate degree from a recognized institution is essential. Proficiency in computer hardware and software, including operating systems, network protocols, and database management systems, is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in school administration or management.
