We are seeking a PGT Physics teacher who is a specialist in laboratory-based pedagogy. For students in Jharkhand, the transition from 10th-grade general science to 12th-grade specialized Physics can be daunting. Your role will be to ground these students in the empirical method, ensuring that every theory taught in the classroom is reinforced by a hands-on experiment. We are looking for an educator who can turn our laboratory into a sanctuary of discovery, where students learn to value precision, observation, and the scientific method above all else.

Responsibilities

Laboratory Instruction: Conduct detailed practical sessions, ensuring students are proficient in using apparatus like vernier calipers, screw gauges, spectrometers, and galvanometers.

Investigatory Projects: Guide Grade 12 students in their mandatory investigatory projects, helping them select topics, conduct research, and document findings scientifically.

Inventory Management: Maintain the school’s Physics laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated, serviced, and safely stored.

Data Analysis Skills: Teach students how to record data, calculate errors, and represent findings through accurate graphical analysis.

Safety Compliance: Enforce strict laboratory safety protocols, particularly when dealing with electrical circuits and optical instruments.

Theory-Practical Linkage: Seamlessly integrate classroom lectures with laboratory schedules so that students "see" the law of gravity or the laws of refraction immediately after learning them.
