Role Summary
Gurugram Public School Jharkhand runs a paper-light classroom where each lesson is projected on smart boards and stored in a cloud-based LMS. The Pprt Mathematics Teacher will deliver the Mathematics Teacher Job in Hazaribagh to Grades 6-10 under this digital-first setup. Applicants should have at least three years of classroom experience and a graduate degree in Mathematics.
How You Will Teach
Lessons are planned on Google Classroom and taught using interactive smart-board modules. Each concept is reinforced with LMS quizzes and blended-learning worksheets that students access on their tablets. The school expects the teacher to upload daily notes, assignments, and solution videos by 4 p.m. so parents can track progress.
What You Will Do
Plan and upload weekly lesson plans on the LMS with embedded YouTube concept videos.
Operate the smart classroom kit (projector, document camera, Wi-Fi slate) without technical support.
Create and mark formative assessments in Google Forms; share auto-generated analytics with the HOD.
Run a weekly virtual doubt-clearing session on Google Meet for students who miss school due to local events.
Maintain a digital portfolio of student work samples tagged by competency level.
Conduct monthly parent-teacher meetings via Zoom and share PDF progress cards.
Collaborate with the IT coordinator to upload new NCERT-aligned question banks every quarter.
Attend a 30-minute training each Friday on the latest math-teaching apps used by the school.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Three years of full-time teaching experience in Grades 6-10.
Familiarity with Hindi and English as mediums of instruction.
Preferred Skills
Digital literacy sufficient to troubleshoot basic projector and Wi-Fi issues.
Hands-on experience with Google Classroom, LMS platforms, and online quiz tools.
Ability to convert textbook problems into animated GeoGebra demonstrations.
