History (PGT) Vacancy in Pakur, Jharkhand
St. Don Bosco School
Job Description
St. Don Bosco School culture is built on small acts of care—morning greetings in the corridor, subject room notice boards that double as student galleries, and a shared belief that history is not just dates but stories that shape how young minds see the world. The department teams meet over chai in the staff room before first bell, trading notes on which local reference will make Mughal chronology click for Class 11. You will join a group where senior teachers mentor juniors during free periods and exam blueprints are dissected together, not handed down.

School Environment
St. Don Bosco School sits at the edge of Pakur town, a 10-minute walk from the weekly haat where students often gather for snacks. The building is a mix of old colonial corridors and modern labs, and the History room has floor-to-ceiling maps and a timeline that students update during projects. Parent-teacher interactions happen in Hindi and English, so comfort with both is useful. The school runs a Saturday activity slot where teachers lead clubs—History club members recently organised a heritage walk to the Rajmahal ruins.
