Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare weekly lesson plans for PGT Chemistry covering NCERT and CBSE exam patterns.
Use local examples—salt extraction in Palamu or water testing—to make redox reactions and pH relatable.
Differentiate instruction through small-group problem-solving sessions before each unit test.
Assign lab-based experiments that reinforce theoretical topics with hands-on observation.
Conduct remedial classes for students struggling with mole concepts or organic nomenclature.
Organize periodic parent-teacher meetings to share progress and suggest home study routines.
Integrate digital tools like PhET simulations when lab facilities are unavailable.
Monitor attendance and counsel students facing academic or personal challenges.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Chemistry with minimum 50% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for secondary teaching eligibility.
Two years of Chemistry Teaching Job in Palamu or similar rural school preferred.
TET/CTET certificates are advantageous but not mandatory.
