Oxford Public School is situated in Chainpur, Palamu, Jharkhand (Tier 4). The post is a full‑time appointment.
Professional Scope
The role involves delivering the Psychology curriculum to senior secondary students (Classes XI and XII) as a Post‑Graduate Teacher (PGT). The teacher will be responsible for planning, conducting and assessing classroom sessions in line with the school’s academic schedule, while fostering analytical and research skills among learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design lesson plans that cover core areas such as developmental psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology and research methodology.
- Conduct practical sessions, including experiments, case‑study analysis and project work, to illustrate theoretical concepts.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, term examinations and practical reports, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and classroom activities as required by school administration.
- Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum reviews and assist in organising seminars or guest lectures related to psychology.
- Support students in preparing for external examinations and guide them in selecting topics for research projects or dissertations.
Qualifications and Experience
- A postgraduate degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level or equivalent, demonstrating competence in delivering the Psychology syllabus.
Compensation
The monthly salary range is Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 60,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
