Green Valley International School in Medininagar invites a passionate TGT Art and Craft Teacher to join their team in Manatu, Palamu. Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct art and craft sessions tailored to students’ age groups, ensuring interactive and age-appropriate activities.
Prepare classroom materials, tools, and workstations, maintaining a safe and organized environment for learning.
Assist students in exploring various art forms, including painting, pottery, weaving, and craft projects, while encouraging individual expression.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance during demonstrations, ensuring students understand techniques and materials effectively.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop lesson plans that integrate art and craft themes with curriculum objectives, ensuring alignment with school policies.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art and craft projects into interdisciplinary lessons, such as history, science, or social studies.
Participate in school events, competitions, and exhibitions to showcase student work and promote artistic talent.
Maintain accurate records of student progress in art and craft, documenting achievements and areas for improvement.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend workshops, training sessions, or conferences to stay updated on best practices in art education and new teaching methods.
Review and update teaching materials, resources, and assessment tools based on student feedback and evolving educational standards.
Work with the principal or art department to plan and organize school-wide art festivals, craft workshops, or cultural programs.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Art and Craft or a related field. Experience in teaching art and craft to students aged 11-18 is essential.
Possess a TET or CTET certificate, though not mandatory for this role.
Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school environment, with a strong foundation in creative arts.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of child development and the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.17,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with benefits tailored to the school’s policies. This position is based in Manatu, Palamu, Jharkhand, offering a chance to contribute to a vibrant educational community in Medininagar.
