Who You Will Teach
As a Mathematics Teacher at Modern Public School, you will be responsible for teaching students from diverse learning levels, including those with special needs. Your inclusive classroom will provide a supportive environment where every student can thrive. You will work closely with the school's special education team to ensure that your teaching practices are tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver Mathematics lessons to students in grades 1-8, using a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Develop and implement a differentiated Mathematics curriculum that meets the needs of all students, including those with special needs.
- Assess student progress and adjust your teaching strategies accordingly.
- Provide individual support to students who require additional help, including those with learning difficulties.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Mathematics lessons that integrate with other subjects.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the Mathematics department.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Mathematics education and attend professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Contribute to the school's Mathematics program by developing and implementing new initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not required.
- 2 years of experience in teaching Mathematics, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
