Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily dance classes for primary and upper primary sections, incorporating Indian classical and folk forms. Prepare lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and assess student progress through practical demonstrations. Organise annual cultural functions, inter‑school competitions and occasional workshops for students and parents. Maintain attendance registers, submit class reports and collaborate with the arts coordinator for interdisciplinary projects. Ensure a safe and inclusive studio environment, managing equipment and adhering to school safety norms.
Qualifications
Graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Dance; TET/CTET qualification is preferred. Must possess a strong foundation in classical, folk and contemporary dance styles and be able to teach basic choreography to young learners.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling primary level dance classes. Prior experience in organizing school cultural events will be an advantage.
Salary
Rs.15,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
