We invite applications for an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Vacancy in Jharkhand to join Cambridge Institute Of Technology as a Structural Engineering Faculty in our esteemed University in Rahe, Ranchi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Structural Engineering education at our University.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Structural Engineering to students of Cambridge Institute Of Technology.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Structural Engineering curriculum and ensure its implementation in the classroom.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the Department of Civil Engineering at the University.
- Foster a scholarly environment by encouraging and supporting research among students and junior faculty members.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and pedagogical innovations.
- Conduct teaching-learning assessment and evaluation to ensure the quality of education.
- Develop and maintain a network of industry partnerships to provide opportunities for students' projects and placements.
- Engage in academic writing, research, and publication in peer-reviewed journals and participate in academic conferences.
- Participate in the departmental and University-level committees to contribute to the decision-making process.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach master level courses in Structural Engineering, including finite element analysis, structural dynamics, and computational models.
- Guide projects and research works of M.Tech./M.E. students in Structural Engineering.
- Foster a culture of research and innovation among students and junior faculty members.
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop and implement projects that address real-world problems.
Who Can Apply
The eligible candidate should have a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks, or a Master's degree in Structural Engineering with a valid UGC-NET/SLET score. The candidate should have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and a commitment to research and academic excellence. Prior teaching experience in a University setting is highly desirable.
