Day-to-Day Duties
As an Assistant Professor in Environmental Science Applied, your day-to-day duties will include:
* Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Environmental Science Applied, including lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions.
* Advising students on academic and career-related matters, including research projects and internships.
* Participating in academic administration, including curriculum development, program planning, and assessment.
* Conducting research in Environmental Science Applied, including publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at national and international conferences.
* Collaborating with colleagues from other departments to develop interdisciplinary research projects and programs.
* Contributing to the development of the department's research agenda and strategy.
* Mentoring junior faculty members and Ph.D. students.
* Participating in university-wide initiatives, including committee work, faculty development programs, and community outreach activities.
Required Qualifications
We seek an Assistant Professor with a strong background in Environmental Science Applied. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. from a recognized university, with a strong research record and teaching experience. Industry experience, particularly in environmental consulting or policy, is desirable. Familiarity with Indian education systems, including UGC norms, is essential.
