Role Summary
The Cambridge Institute Of Technology invites applications for an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Deep Learning Vacancy in Ranchi for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. This is a full-time position based in Rahe, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The role focuses on undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and academic leadership in Deep Learning.
Day-to-Day Duties
Teach core and elective courses in Deep Learning for B.Tech and M.Tech students at Cambridge Institute Of Technology. Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with AICTE and UGC norms for effective delivery in classrooms and labs. Conduct regular assignments, lab sessions, and evaluations to ensure student comprehension and engagement.
Assess student performance through quizzes, projects, and examinations while providing constructive feedback for improvement. Organize and participate in departmental seminars, workshops, and invited talks on Deep Learning trends. Maintain updated lecture notes, practical manuals, and digital resources for student reference. Collaborate with peers on curriculum design and continuous improvement of academic programs. Ensure timely completion of administrative duties such as attendance, grading, and report submission.
Postgraduate Students
Guide postgraduate students in M.Tech programs specializing in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Supervise master’s level dissertations, project work, and thesis submissions in Deep Learning applications. Encourage research publications and participation in national conferences or journals.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field with at least 55% marks. A minimum of two years of teaching or research experience in Deep Learning is required. NET/SLET qualification is mandatory unless exempted as per UGC regulations.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences in Deep Learning or AI are essential. Prior experience in curriculum development or industry collaboration in AI/ML is preferred. Familiarity with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Python is desirable.
