Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Distributed Systems
- Conducting research in Distributed Systems and publishing papers in top-tier journals
- Supervising Ph.D. students in Distributed Systems
- Evaluating thesis proposals and guiding research work
- Participating in academic and administrative activities of the department
- Collaborating with other faculty members on research projects
- Engaging with industry partners and stakeholders
- Maintaining a strong research profile and securing research grants
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field
- A strong research background in Distributed Systems
- Experience in teaching and guiding Ph.D. students
- UGC-NET or UGC-CSIR NET with JRF is desirable
- Postdoctoral research experience is preferred
Research & Publications
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, you will be expected to:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in Distributed Systems and publish papers in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with other faculty members on research projects and secure research grants
- Participate in national and international conferences and workshops
- Develop and establish research collaborations with industry partners
Doctoral Guidance
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, you will be responsible for guiding Ph.D. students in Distributed Systems, including:
- Evaluating thesis proposals and guiding research work
- Supervising Ph.D. students and providing regular feedback
- Assisting in the development of research proposals and securing research grants
