About This Role
Cambridge Institute Of Technology, a reputable University in Rahe, Ranchi, Jharkhand, invites applications for the post of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Numerical Methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Numerical Methods.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Numerical Methods, including Numerical Analysis, Computational Methods, and Mathematical Modelling.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and demonstrations to students.
- Assess student performance through written exams, quizzes, and project evaluations.
- Develop and implement new courses and curriculum in Numerical Methods.
- Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of academic programs.
- Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date course website.
- Collaborate with other faculty members in the department to develop and implement academic programs.
- Maintain a high level of scholarship and engage in research activities.
PG Class Profile
The successful candidate will be required to teach master level courses in Numerical Methods, such as Advanced Numerical Analysis, Computational Methods for Engineering Applications, and Mathematical Modelling for Scientific Applications. The candidate will also be responsible for guiding postgraduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
Who Can Apply
Ph.D. holders with a minimum of 55% marks in their Ph.D. thesis are eligible to apply. Candidates with a valid NET/SLET certificate are preferred. Applicants must have at least two years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level. Preference will be given to candidates with publications in peer-reviewed journals.

The successful candidate will be eligible for career advancement based on the Academic Performance Index (API) score. Candidates with a high API score will be considered for promotion to the post of Professor.
