Role Summary
This senior administrative position reports directly to the Principal of Lady K C Roy Memorial School and shapes the football program’s long-term vision. You will lead strategy, manage operations, and mentor assistant coaches across age groups. The role demands both field excellence and administrative oversight in Kanke, Ranchi.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute the annual football calendar for Lady K C Roy Memorial School, aligning fixtures with school events and regional tournaments. Oversee equipment procurement, maintenance of the astro-turf ground, and safety compliance for all training sessions and matches. Coordinate with the sports coordinator to integrate football with school assemblies and inter-house competitions.
Supervise two assistant coaches, conduct monthly skill assessments, and submit performance reports to the Principal. Organize parent orientation sessions twice a year to explain training philosophy and expectations. Represent the school at Jharkhand State School Games Federation meetings and ensure timely submission of player eligibility documents.
Introduce age-specific training modules that balance fitness, technique, and sportsmanship. Document injury records, maintain first-aid kits, and liaise with local physiotherapists for rehabilitation programs. Monitor nutrition plans in consultation with the school canteen vendor for under-14 and under-17 squads.
Eligibility
Minimum five years of senior coaching experience in schools or academies, with a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science preferred. Prior experience in talent scouting and tournament management is essential. Knowledge of Jharkhand’s school sports ecosystem is advantageous.
