Position Overview
The school librarian serves as the steward of our learning commons, ensuring that students, families, and staff have equitable access to high-quality print, digital, and multimedia resources. This community-facing role supports literacy development, research skills, and cultural enrichment while fostering strong ties between the school and local families.
Primary Duties
Provide daily library services including circulation, shelving, and reader advisory for students in grades K-12.
Curate and maintain a diverse, inclusive collection aligned with curriculum standards and community interests.
Organize and lead story hours, book clubs, and family literacy nights to encourage reading at home.
Collaborate with teachers to integrate information literacy and research skills into classroom instruction.
