Job Title
NTT Evs Teacher – St. Columbus School, Rahe, Ranchi
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging EVS lessons for classes VIII‑X according to the CBSE syllabus, incorporating local environmental issues of Jharkhand.
Design practical activities, field trips and projects that enable students to observe and analyse their surroundings in Rahe and surrounding areas.
Assess student work through worksheets, project reports and oral presentations, providing constructive feedback focused on environmental concepts.
Maintain classroom resources, lab equipment and teaching aids related to EVS, ensuring safety and proper usage.
Collaborate with senior faculty to integrate cross‑curricular themes such as health, civic responsibility and sustainable practices within the school curriculum.
Organise and supervise school‑wide environmental drives, cleanliness campaigns and tree‑planting events as part of the institution’s community outreach.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in EVS at the secondary level.
TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
At least 2 years of full‑time teaching experience handling EVS classes in a school setting.
Salary
Rs.17,000 - Rs.28,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
Employment Type
