Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our teaching team at Cambrian Public School in Rahe, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chemistry and experience in teaching Chemistry to students of various age groups.

Pedagogy and Tools

At Cambrian Public School, we use modern tools to enhance student learning and engagement. Our classrooms are equipped with smart boards, and we have implemented Google Classroom and LMS for blended learning. As a PGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be expected to integrate technology into your teaching practices, utilizing these tools to create interactive and engaging lessons.

What You Will Do

- Teach Chemistry to students of various age groups, including Classes 9-12
- Prepare and implement lesson plans, using a variety of teaching methods and resources
- Use smart boards, Google Classroom, and LMS to create interactive and engaging lessons
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations in the Chemistry laboratory
- Assess student progress and provide individualized feedback
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the Science department
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new teaching methods and resources
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
- Contribute to the development of the school's Chemistry curriculum
- Supervise students during Chemistry experiments and demonstrations
- Participate in extracurricular activities related to Chemistry, such as school fairs and competitions

Eligibility Criteria

- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- CTET or TET certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Chemistry
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry and its applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Skills

- Digital literacy, including proficiency in Google Classroom and LMS
- Experience with online teaching tools and resources
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons using technology
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
