What You Will Do
Prepare term-wise lesson plans aligned to Jharkhand Academic Council syllabus and CBSE patterns for Mathematics Teacher recruitment in Jharkhand. Conduct unit tests and term-end exams with balanced difficulty levels that test both concept clarity and application. Maintain accurate attendance registers and submit progress reports to parents every fortnight. Organize inter-house math quizzes and Olympiads to foster competitive spirit among students. Collaborate with other PGT Mathematics teachers in Ranchi, Jharkhand to share best practices and resources. Attend staff meetings and parent-teacher conferences in Rahe to address academic concerns. Participate in school fairs and science exhibitions to showcase student projects. Mentor two to three students for national-level math competitions each year.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Mathematics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed from NCTE-approved institutes is mandatory for this PGT Mathematics teacher position. Prior experience of teaching Mathematics at senior secondary level for at least two years is essential.
Preferred Skills
Strong command over Olympiad-level problems and previous years’ JEE Main/Advanced question papers. Familiarity with CBSE sample papers and marking schemes for Mathematics Teaching jobs in Ranchi.
