Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computational Science to students pursuing B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, and M.Sc. degrees.
- Develop and implement curriculum for Computational Science courses, ensuring alignment with university and industry requirements.
- Guide students in research projects, mentoring them in academic writing, presentation, and publication.
- Participate in academic and administrative committees, contributing to policy-making and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop interdisciplinary courses and projects.
- Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences to stay updated with latest trends and developments in Computational Science.
- Supervise and evaluate student assignments, projects, and dissertations.
- Participate in departmental and institutional activities, promoting a culture of academic excellence and research.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach master level courses in Computational Science, including advanced topics and research methods.
- Guide students in research projects, providing guidance on academic writing, presentation, and publication.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement curriculum for master level courses.
- Supervise and evaluate student assignments, projects, and dissertations.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computational Science or a related field from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% marks.
- UGC-NET or CSIR-NET qualification or a Ph.D. degree with a minimum of 55% marks, in case of non-NET candidates.
- Strong publications record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Experience in teaching and research in a university or college setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
