Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate students in Construction Management, developing and delivering curriculum, and assessing student performance.
- Advise and mentor students in their academic and professional pursuits, providing guidance on career development and research opportunities.
- Participate in academic administration, contributing to departmental and institutional decision-making, and serving on committees and task forces.
- Develop and maintain a strong research agenda, publishing in top-tier journals and presenting at conferences.
- Engage in industry collaborations, consulting, and outreach activities, fostering partnerships and promoting the university's reputation.
- Serve as a member of the Construction Management department, contributing to curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation efforts.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, promoting interdisciplinary research and education.
- Participate in faculty development programs, staying current with best practices in teaching, research, and service.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. from a recognized university is mandatory for this position. Industry experience, particularly in construction management, is highly desirable. A strong track record of research and publication, as well as a commitment to teaching and academic service, is essential for success in this role. UGC norms and regulations will be applicable for this appointment.
