We are seeking a highly qualified Professor of Surveying to join our faculty team in the College of Engineering. Day-to-Day Duties
As a Professor of Surveying, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Teaching undergraduate and graduate-level Surveying courses, including surveying principles, geomatics, and GIS
* Advising students on academic and research projects, providing guidance and mentorship
* Participating in academic administration, including curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation
* Conducting research in Surveying and publishing papers in reputable journals
* Collaborating with industry partners and stakeholders to promote the application of Surveying knowledge and skills
* Participating in departmental and university-level committees to shape academic policies and initiatives
* Supervising postgraduate students and guiding them in their research projects
* Contributing to the development of new programs and courses in Surveying and related areas
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you should possess a Ph.D. in Surveying or a related field from a recognized university, with a strong industry experience in Surveying and geomatics. A proven track record of research and publications in reputable journals will be an added advantage. Familiarity with UGC norms and regulations is essential.
