How You Will Teach
Teach basic programming logic using age-appropriate tools like Scratch and Blockly. Organize lab sessions where students solve simple coding challenges on classroom computers. Guide students in creating small digital projects such as animated stories or simple games.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver weekly Computer Science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for Classes 1 to 5. Prepare teaching aids such as charts, flashcards, and step-by-step activity sheets for hands-on learning. Conduct periodic assessments to track students’ understanding of key concepts like algorithms and debugging.
Assist in setting up and maintaining the school’s computer lab for smooth classroom operations. Collaborate with other PRT teachers to integrate Computer Science concepts into interdisciplinary projects. Organize inter-house coding competitions and showcase events for students to demonstrate their learning.
Handle daily attendance, maintain student progress records, and submit weekly reports to the school coordinator. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to share updates on students’ progress in Computer Science.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with at least two years of teaching experience. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates with CTET/TET qualification.
