Responsibilities
Plan and deliver daily dance classes for Primary (PRT) students, following the school’s curriculum and schedule. Prepare lesson plans, demonstrate movements, and guide students in technique, rhythm, and expression. Assess student progress and maintain records of attendance and performance. Organize occasional cultural programs or performances as required.
Requirements
Minimum two years of teaching experience in dance at the primary level. Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET, though it is not mandatory. Ability to manage a classroom, communicate clearly with children, and coordinate with other teachers. Basic knowledge of Indian classical and contemporary dance forms.
Work Environment
Teaching will be conducted in well‑equipped dance studios at Gd Goenka School, with access to music systems and appropriate flooring. Interaction with parents and participation in school events will be part of the role.
