Classroom Profile
In our inclusive classroom in Rahe, Ranchi, you will be teaching a diverse group of students with varying learning levels and abilities. As a PRT English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners. Your expertise in English will be valuable in helping students develop their language skills and build confidence in their abilities.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PRT English Teacher at D.a.v. Alok Public School, your duties will include:
- Developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to different learning levels and abilities.
- Creating engaging and interactive teaching materials that promote student participation and engagement.
- Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra assistance.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English curriculum.
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development programs.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- Supporting the school's inclusive education policies and practices.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree in English or a related field. While a TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is preferred. You must also have at least 2 years of experience in teaching English to students in grades 1-8.
