Role Summary

Cambrian Public School is seeking a highly skilled PRT Music Teacher to join our team in Rahe, Ranchi, Jharkhand. As a PRT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music to students from grade 1 to 8. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music and be able to create an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-Day Duties

1. Plan and deliver music lessons to students from grade 1 to 8.
2. Prepare and execute musical performances for school events.
3. Develop and implement music curriculum for students.
4. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
5. Maintain a well-organized and clean music room.
6. Assist with music-related events and activities.
7. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into the curriculum.
8. Attend staff meetings and participate in school events.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Required Qualifications

Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Postgraduate degree in Music or a related field
- 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of music theory and practice

Good to Have:
- Experience with teaching music to children
- Knowledge of Indian classical music
- Familiarity with music software and technology

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with children of different age groups
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational software
