As an English teacher at Loyola Convent School Ranchi, you will be expected to use innovative pedagogies and tools to make English Language and Literature learning an engaging experience for students. You will be required to use textbooks, workbooks, and digital resources to create interactive lessons and activities. Experience in using English language learning software and online resources will be an added advantage.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver English Language and Literature lessons to students of various age groups
- Prepare and evaluate student assessments, quizzes, and assignments
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress
- Participate in school events and activities related to English Language and Literature
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement English language learning programs
- Develop and implement English language learning materials and resources
- Use technology to enhance English language learning
- Encourage students to participate in English language learning competitions and events
- Monitor and evaluate student performance in English Language and Literature
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in English or a related field
- CTET or TET certification is preferred
- Postgraduate degree in English or a related field
