About This Role
D.a.v. Alok Public School is looking for a TGT Hindi Teacher to strengthen its Hindi language department in Rahe, Ranchi. The role focuses on teaching Hindi to middle school students following the CBSE curriculum with local adaptations. You will plan lessons, conduct assessments, and engage students in both literature and functional Hindi.
How You Will Teach
You will use interactive methods like story narration, poetry recitation, and grammar drills to make Hindi engaging. Visual aids such as flashcards, charts, and short films will support learning. Regular group activities and role-plays will encourage spoken Hindi practice among students.
What You Will Do
Prepare lesson plans aligned with CBSE Hindi syllabus for Classes 6 to 8.
Conduct daily Hindi classes with clear explanations of grammar, literature, and writing skills.
Evaluate student progress through written tests, oral exams, and project work.
Organize Hindi recitation competitions and essay writing events at school level.
Assist in preparing students for inter-school Hindi competitions and cultural fests.
Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate Hindi across subjects.
Maintain attendance, marks records, and submit reports to the school coordinator.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Hindi.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Hindi (MA Hindi) with minimum 50% marks.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
Prior teaching experience of at least 2 years in Hindi at middle school level.
CTET or TET certification is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
Fluency in spoken and written Hindi with clear pronunciation.
Ability to teach grammar, prose, poetry, and composition effectively.
Skill in designing age-appropriate teaching materials for Hindi.
Experience in organizing Hindi language events and competitions.

A full-time position with a monthly salary between Rs.20,000 and Rs.25,000.
