TGT Physical Education Teacher Position at D A V Vivekananda Public School, Bero, Ranchi
D A V Vivekananda Public School in Bero, Ranchi, seeks a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to inspire and develop students’ physical fitness, sportsmanship, and overall well-being. This role involves designing engaging curricula, fostering teamwork, and nurturing a healthy, active lifestyle among students in a vibrant school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement age-appropriate Physical Education programs aligned with school curriculum standards.
2. Conduct daily sports drills, games, and fitness activities to enhance students’ physical and mental health.
3. Monitor student participation, track progress, and provide constructive feedback on performance.
4. Organize inter-house and inter-school sports events, ensuring fair play and competitive spirit.
5. Collaborate with school management to promote health initiatives, such as nutrition workshops and wellness programs.
6. Maintain organized sports equipment, facilities, and records to support teaching activities.
7. Engage with parents and teachers to discuss students’ progress in physical activities.
8. Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
A candidate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and at least four years of teaching experience in Physical Education is preferred. A TET/CTET certificate will be an added advantage but not mandatory. The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month in Bero, Ranchi.
